Since the weather today was not the worst, I got cute and went downtown and forced my SO to take some pics.
I was worried when we decided to do shirts, because quality can really be hit or miss, but it’s soft and comfy – not stiff or flimsy – and the size and color of @radiuszero‘s design comes through really nicely. I’ll definitely be scheduling a no-cosplay day at my next con for an excuse to wear this around a crowd that might recognize the character.
The laser cut gear base pieces are all here and we’ve put together an instructional assembly video for everyone! Don’t worry about saving this post. We’ll be putting a QR code into each order with the standee so you can easily access it.
A few notes:
-The gear base pieces might have a pretty strong smell; if you peel them and let them sit in a well-ventilated area, it should dissipate in a few days -Cleaning is optional, but laser cutting can leave behind a lot of grime and burnt plastic, which can stain the standee or the other parts -Absolutely do not use strong detergent or rubbing alcohol to clean your parts; they can melt the acrylic
