Fandom’s favorite Bubblegum/Cotton Candy Bitch/Prince / Mr. Steal Your Girl / Kiss Me / Too Anime For This Anime. Kisumi is such a wild card due to him only showing up in one episode of the anime and is only ickle in High Speed!.
This is for gabapple! Her birthday was on Friday and I wanted to draw her SOMETHING. We’ve talked about RPing the entire cast and she has expressed the most interest in Kisumi and, well, my hand slipped.
:3c
WELL THAT’S ONLY BECAUSE I ALREADY OWN HARU LIKE WOAH

Also, get that paw away from your mouth!
{Aimee, do you have any tips on eating healthy and exercising? I’m a healthy weight due to my metabolism but my diet and exercise is anything but. And every time I try to fix that, my motivation plummets by the next day. Help?}
Fanfiction writers literally owe people NOTHING. People need to get off their high horse and realize that most people write fanfiction between school, jobs or whatever things they have going on in their lives.
So before calling someone a bitch for not updating at a rate YOU would prefer, why not realize that fanfiction writers are literally writing for people for free and should have all the time they need to write the chapters.
And you may ask yourself-Well...How did I get here?- Once in A Lifetime, Talking HeadsFree!, as described by it’s creators, is a “swimming story about friendship and bonds.” Unlike most hot-blooded sports series where the sport is the crux of the plot, in Free! swimming serves merely as a back drop for a classic coming of age story.
Like everyone else, I started watching Free! for the hot bodies and swimming… but as the story progressed, I became engrossed in the narrative structure of the series. This is a literary analysis and trope driven deconstruction of Haruka’s progress throughout the story.
In short, the Hero’s Journey is an archetypal pattern that supports the narrative of many stories, usually epic quests like Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings.
So, that being said… how does Haruka Nanase’s story, as the protagonist of a slice-of-life sports anime, compare to that of epic heroes like Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker?
I’m not kidding. This is a long ride, strap in.

you are allowed to terminate toxic relationships
you are allowed to walk away from people who hurt you
you are allowed to be angry and selfish and unforgiving
you don’t owe anyone an explanation for taking care of yourself
