Place that makes me happy – SIMPLY SUSHI… AND MOVIE THEATERS. Also Barnes & Noble as long as I have starbucks and money. Okay p much I love going to movies and out for dinner and I like some shopping as long as it’s fun browsing in a quiet place.

Favourite movie – It’s a tie between Jurassic Park and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Lion King and Moulin Rouge are also up there. 

Wearing – Some kind of… green shirt blouse thing for work and jeans because I am not at work anymore. Also my reading glasses because I stupidly got a laptop with high res display even though I’m very far-sighted. 

Last book you read – The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Not even sure why I read it, but I did. Before that it was Shiver.

Now that Aaron is working again, he’s going to bed at the same time I do. This makes it incredibly difficult to get up in the morning because he’s so warm and comfy. T~T;

My hubby is too cute… Help!

Hi! Just wanted to say I’m so happy for you guys that Aaron got the job. Money doesn’t buy happiness, yadda yadda, but it REALLY helps secure the peace-of-mind to start looking for it. You guys deserve that. Tell him congrats! (Even tho we each have NO IDEA who the other is, lol XD )

Oh gosh thank you so much. Yes, exactly. It’s possible, dare I say it, that in a few months… we can actually pay all of the monthly bills… not falling further behind… eventually start getting caught up… no more people calling day after day trying to get the money we don’t have, threatening to garnish more wages…

I am really, really looking forward to not having to be worried that the power will stay on… or that we can make rent… that we won’t be homeless or unable to afford medication.

Just had some chicken soup and am lying on the couch with a cat… maybe I’ll write… maybe I’ll watch Dirty Dancing… who even knows

A few things:

  • I am definitely sick bow bowdy I am going to bed after this post
  • I finally broke 10k in NanoWriMo today (which means I’m behind but EH! progress is progress.)
  • I have no idea where my passport ran off to… which is bad because I need it… and I had a dream last night that my London buddies wanted to kidnap me again but couldn’t because it was lost!!! D: 
  • Aaron got the job!!!! He STARTS MONDAY. If we can just keep our heads above water for a few more weeks, we are going to be okay!!!

I drew more ickleba today, too, but idk if I feel like posting it… it sounds like a lot of work to pull the paper out and take photos of it… colds that make my head all fuzzy also make me EXTREMELY lazy.

Didn’t go to @anyahatesbunnies‘ party because I’m feeling sick and I wasn’t able to arrange transportation, so I’m cleaning my apartment and having a pity party instead. Maybe I’ll make some soup.

On the plus side, NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow… 

So that will be fun. And a lot of work. And, like most writing, feel totally pointless because no one is going to read my stuff until/unless I get published and even then…  (with the exception of friggin @mamodewberry of course because she is an angel and reads everything I write for some reason). But it’s not about people reading stuff, right? Except that’s the whole point of books… I just wish I knew if I was wasting my time or not. 😐

Anyway, back to cleaning and trying not to hurl. Happy Halloweeeen…

…so, I can see myself staying with this company for a very, very long time… As such, I think it may be time for a redesign of my portfolio site to focus more on writing + illustration and less on web development, since I am definitely not looking for freelance work in that area anymore, and hopefully won’t have need to find a new job for the foreseeable future. 

IDK why I am even mentioning this here but I’m pretty excited about it.  I want to integrate my social media stuff more… do patreon… streaming… etc
