The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: James from Team Rocket. 

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: IDK I don’t like Misty but I’m not sure that anyone really does. Actually, there are tons of really annoying characters all throughout the series…

The character I love that everyone else hates: Ash. 🙂 He’s so dumb. 

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: Ash’s mom?? And Professor Oak… actually, lots of people seem to be working against Ash. But I haven’t kept up on the series, so maybe this improves. 

The character I would totally smooch: Professor Sycamore. *COUGH*

The character I’d want to be like: Bonnie. Kehe.

FAVORITE ANIME: HMMMmm… Ouran High School Host Club is first, then it’s a tie between Cowboy Bebop/Detective Conan/Neon Genesis Evangelion/Excel Saga/Pokemon/FREE!… 

FAVORITE MANGA: Detective Conan is the only one I’ve ever really kept up on, so that I guess.

VIDEO GAMES: Hamtaro Ham-ham Heartbreak and Pokemon: Fire Red! Best games. Then Smash Bros. I also like Minecraft and Little Big Planet on occasion.

SPORTS: I liked playing tennis, oddly enough… In all sports I did in school, I was usually pretty good at the point of the game (making baskets, hitting/kicking the ball, etc), but terrible at running, which made me awful at every sport but, like, bowling.

LAST SONG I LISTENED TO: The Teen Titans theme song.

FIRST LANGUAGE: English.

Last music I bought: That I bought? I use google music, so I just pay a monthly subscription fee to support my flights of fancy. Lately, I’ve been on a The Mamas and the Papas kick. I used an audible credit to buy The Bourne Identity and Jurassic Park audiobooks, though; does that count?

Favorite movies: Jurassic Park, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Moulin Rouge, Princess Bride, A Christmas Story, etc. etc. etc.

Favorite beverage: I’m very fond of iced tea. And vanilla coke. I mostly drink water, though.

Favorite food: Curry rice. Or tacos. One of the two.

Dream vacation: Di..sneyland…? :D;;;

Dream wedding: My wedding was on a super budget and really the only thing that I got that I wanted was the groom. Which is really the most important part. Still, though, if we get the chance to renew our vows… it’s gonna be one hella awesome party. 

Dream job: AUTHOR/ILLUSTRATOR who teaches at conferences and libraries and things T____T; wah  (though I still LOVEEEEEE my day job omg it’s so awesome)

LOL since my desktop died, I’ve been hooking my laptop up to two external monitors that aren’t the same size (not enough VGA cables), so using the windows 8 snipping tool turned out like this. 8)

Yes and no! gabapple is where I post all of the art and I still use it, but I follow way too many people to keep up with…  gabapplewrites is more for non-art updates and reblogs of writing stuff, with a much much smaller follow list…

5 facts about me:

  1. I’m allergic to cucumbers. A lot. Even the scent makes my skin itch. Can’t touch it without it feeling like a burn. No shampoos or lotions or anything with cucumber in it allowed! Pickles, on the other hand… No problem whatsoever. Vinegar wins again!
  2. It is really hard for me to pick a ‘favorite’ of anything because I like too many things and context changes everything. Which is really annoying. 
  3. I love singing, and I’ve been in lots of choirs and vocal groups, but still have trouble reading sheet music. Probably doesn’t help that I can’t play an instrument to save my life. It just all turns into math and then I get so confused. 
  4. Disneyland is my #1 most favorite place in the world… and I haven’t been in 7 years. Sob. (first world problems, I know)
  5. I’ve only ever kissed one person… and that would be my husband, whom I met online in 1999 on a pokemon roleplaying group, and married in 2006. No regrets.
