I once had a project called ‘Marked’ – I think there’s more concept art of this character out there somewhere, but I don’t seem to have it on me. Anyway, her name is Pandora. Or was. Now I just call her Red. I’d like to write her story some day, because I don’t think the game I wanted to make will happen. 🙂

Let me tell you the story of Anthony the Hoothoot. Once upon a time, Fault (aka Aaron, that guy I’m married to) wanted to run a tabletop roleplaying campaign in which Pokemorphs (ala pokemorph mush) were transported from the island into a fantasy setting to go on an EPIC QUEST. Anthony was my character for the journey.

He lived a life of misery being small, shrimpy, and quite nerdly, bullied by his schoolmates. The only solace he had was running a weekly D&D campaign with some other nerds until he found himself in a magical world where he was the most prepared and capable member of his party! Never before had his monster manual or his studying of ancient languages been so useful! But would it be enough for them to make it through and achieve the test the king set before them?!

…No one knows because we never finished the campaign. 😐 But man it was fun. I like to think that they succeeded and that Anthony eventually became a badass Noctowl wizard mercenary or something. 

Someone once told me, years and years ago when Yerf was still around, that the only reason my art was worth anything was because I could use color. I made it a point after that to do a lot of art in nothing but ball-point pens.

I think it helped me in some ways, but now I don’t want to finish anything. 😛 

The history of Gab the Meerkat! Gab has been my online avatar since 1997, back when I was involved in TLK-L and the lionking.org chatroom. She was very obviously influenced by my obsession with Timon. I don’t draw her nearly as much anymore, though. Clearly, this must be remedied. 

The end result (( AND BONUS PRE-POST PROCESSING VIEW!!! )) of the commissioned icons that I did over the weekend on live stream. Thanks to all of those who commissioned me! I am quite pleased with all of them. 🙂

Meryl! She’s supposed to be like… leaning back on a stool or a little table or something. I don’t remember where I was going with this. Something to do with her ears and gravity. Oh and there are some rats. Don’t know why.
