Dying to finish this when I have time… it’ll probably change a lot, though…

Less dead, but still not quite alive. Got the office more or less set up last night, doing the bedroom tonight. Maintenance staff fixed the apartment issues right away (first time this has EVER happened in an apartment for me), and I love the place so far. It’s so cute and cozy. I’ll take photos once we’re unpacked and maybe decorated a bit.

The cats have adjusted, too, though they’re doing that meowing-all-night thing again… trying to get me up so that they can follow me around the apartment like kitty-ducklings.

“Last Day” of moving is tomorrow… mostly because we now have no car and renting another uhaul is wiping out every last cent that we had left. It’s mostly packing up dishes, my craft room, and misc while getting the donation stuff ready for Wednesday morning pickup.

I can’t wait for this to all be over, though. So tired.

BUT!!! I have gotten back into the “getting up at 7am to write with Cori” routine, so that is happy. Novel is currently at 60k, and will probably get to 90 before I’m “done” – then it’ll be time to take it to the cutting room floor to cull the nonsense and get it to around 75k at the end- that’s approximately 300 paperback novel pages, fyi.

Ugh I love my stupid book. And characters. And premise. I want it to be a movie already so I can watch it. LOL.

For those who haven’t read articles about it, the local shrine elevated her to a god. She’s now the Eternal Stationmaster and patron god of the station.

This was a great story from beginning to end.

This is Tango’s favorite toy… which he has gutted… the yellow thing is the motion-activated squeaker that was once inside of it. I mention it because we found this last night, and Gibbs, my mom’s dog that we’re babysitting again, has the exact same toy only, you know, not destroyed. Tango is super jealous.
