My mom really liked this little robot, so I scanned him for everyone’s enjoyment. Pretty impressed that my scanner picked it up so well… it normally chews art to pieces.

Who is nervous about this Saturday? Me. But it will be fun and informative, and I’ll get to meet a lot of local illustrators, which is great! I mostly just know writers in the area, it’ll be nice to have some art connections, too. And if the director doesn’t like my portfolio, that’s okay, too. I should get some very constructive feedback and, hopefully, have an idea of what I ought to be working on to improve my craft.

I’m not really looking for freelance work. I just need a skills assessment. Just need to keep repeating this over and over again. Find out what I’m missing so I can kick its butt.
