Heading out to a writing workshop for the weekend, and I’ll have very limited access to the internet from Friday-Monday! Got all of my stuff taken care of for work, got my manuscript stuff printed and packed away in my magical peacock box (with tiny business card-holding peacock book, extra reading glasses, and writing muse Theo hamster), the last load of laundry’s in the dryer, and… yeah! Totally stoked.  

Maybe I should pick out a pack of tarot cards to throw in there, too, though… that might help if I get stumped during revisions. HMM! 

ANYWAY. Wish me luck! 😀

  • Experiences (travel, events, vacations, entertainment)
  • Health (medical care duh, good food, good location, reduced stress)
  • Opportunity (car, being able to move, having a safety net, “looking professional”)
  • Confidence (clothes that make you look good, things that make you feel good)

Every single relationship will get “boring” after you’ve been together for ages. Love isn’t a feeling, it’s a commitment; to love every day, physically and emotionally. It’s hard afff, it’s not always laughs and smiles and fun. People tend to quit when it stops being cute. “Oh the spark is gone.” No, that’s not how it works. Someone asked me a question about Victor, Yuri, and their relationship. Since I thought it would be interesting to do some analysis, I decided to rewatch some episodes and look for quotes to screencap (I’ll be working on that later on). I was rewatching episode 2 when we get to that scene of Victor banging on Yuri’s door, telling him to sleep together, and Yuri basically locking himself in. 

And then I got this:

And then I noticed Victor’s face and my heart went ouch:

His phone’s right there. What if he watched Yuri’s performance of Stay Close to Me till he fell asleep, wondering how to get close to the one that keeps running away from him? His hair is unusually unkempt (unlike that first time they showed him sleeping), and those tears… 

It appears skaters’ hearts are as fragile as glass, after all.
