@anyahatesbunnies finished reading the first draft of Fishsticks. She said that it was “readable” and “salvageable” which is very high praise from her.
Honestly, though, I am so excited. The synopsis is almost done, then I gotta finish polishing my first 20 pages and finish the proposal… then this whole next week will be chopping my book down to 75k.
Her feedback was pretty positive. There’s a LOT that I can clean up which will do a ton for cutting it down… and @mamodewberry has been giving v v encouraging commentary as she reads through it, too… I CAN DO THIS.

I realized that my hairdryer was 10+ years old, so bought a new one on Friday and my hair drying time went from 25 minutes to just under 10. Holy moly.
