like it would be one thing if a death note ended up in america and some guy picked it up and it played out a different story with similar themes, like a sequel to death note and stuff but

if you’re gonna go with the Japanese names, for the love of all that is good in the world, stay true to the Japanese version. Have it take place in Japan. With Japanese actors. Heck let’s just watch the Japanese movie(s) that already exist and be done with it. :/ We need lots more exposure to foreign films and culture, anyway.
