Primadonna is about halfway through our sales period, and we are happy to announce that we’ve raised about $300 for the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation in the hopes of supporting a future without breast cancer. Sales will continue through International Women’s Day on March 8th.
Sadly, not everything is roses and rainbows right now. It’s come to our attention that our blog is caught up in one of tumblr’s many bugs, and isn’t appearing in search results )’: if you can’t buy or donate the zine, please consider reblogging this and other posts to help signal boost this last stretch of donations; you’ll be supporting a wonderful cause and celebrating all of our creators!

A little something different but just as magical in a way. Our friends at the Primadonna zine have hit a bit of a snafu due to a Tumblr Bug, and we’d like to help them give as much as they can to their incredibly worthy cause.
If you’re unable to buy the zines (which you should try to do, they’re incredibly wonderful), the PayPal pool is a good way to only give a couple of bucks if that’s all you can make work. But also helping us boost their project would be more than generous!

Valentine’s Day is a tricky thing. In Japan, women buy or make chocolate to give to the men that they like in hopes of having their affection returned on White Day in March. In Russia, it wasn’t even celebrated until the fall of the Soviet Union, where largely western customs were adopted and have become very popular. Then there are other places, like Switzerland, where it isn’t really a big deal despite having amazing chocolate. But it’s not just living in a globalized world and having a melding of cultures that presents potential misunderstandings; a person’s perspective on this particular day of romance may change wildly depending on where they stand in life…
It’s finally here! Ch 1 of Man on a Wire, @mamodewberry’s fic about Chris and his love story with the mysterious manager~ ooh! This is in the NLA-verse, so it’s a canon compliant inbetweenquel of sorts, with juicy backstory you won’t find anywhere else. 😉
