Viktor’s ex boyfriend had an interest in photography, but didn’t know if he could pursue it since his parents wanted him to go into business, not the arts. Despite this, Viktor tried to encourage his interests anyway, even if it seemed a little… sketchy from time to time. And no one knows what his ex did with the photos, either.

It’s all backstory stuff from the YOI fic that we’re writing, Never Look Away. 😉

Remember when Viktor asked young Chris if he wanted to leave the banquet early? Yeah, that happened.

(but it’s going to take so many chapters to get to that flashback. weeps.)

I love writing… especially when I feel like the stuff I’m writing matters. Probably not to a ton of people, but to some people. All of my books are sad and funny because that’s pretty much what life is from where I’m standing. And that resonates with a particular audience. I read a lot as a kid and I definitely wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for the books that resonated with me growing up. The books that I’m still finding that keep me going.

SO I WILL KEEP WRITING for those it matters to. >:O 

It really isn’t about the commercial success, but getting stories into the hands of those who need to not feel so alone anymore.
