Aaron and I watched an episode of Conan on Netflix tonight and we were both just like “why is this a two-parter, this trick has been done before” and we rolled our eyes a lot.

The movies are all terrible these days, the cases are so boring, the “twists” are all cliche and pointless, and there are way too many characters and things are far too complicated and Gosho is just adding more and more nonsense and no resolutions and I just do not care.
Clover and I decided the other day that CotR (our epic fanfic) is only going to count seasons 1-14 as canon and go from there.
I like the newer characters, don’t get me wrong, but they should be in their OWN serieses being awesome, not muddying the already sewage-filled water that is Detective Conan.
