Happy Conan Sunday!

No cut since it’s just one image and stuff. I got really really mad earlier and abandoned the thing I had planned to do for today and did this instead… which I think turned out pretty well? Trying a different style for Conan and Ran. She’s all “Yeah! Best little brother ever!” And he’s like “Eeheheheh… (I hope she never finds out)." 

anyway… need to learn how to draw shoes and stuff. but there you go!

I watched their video on this program and I’m like, “ok… not sure how that would work, but it’s got a free trial so whatever.”

I start drawing with it and it’s super smooth – I’m pleasantly surprised. Then I use the zoom tool and…

I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE.

Will definitely have to check this out, however there is one thing I noticed that made my nose scrunch in disappointment: The cursor is still the arrow. As a left-handed person, this is one of the things that killed Gimp for me.

You can change the cursor to a crosshair under Edit>Preferences… :] Unfortunately, it resets every time you launch the program, but maybe that’s just the trial version.

okay I REALLY REALLY want to try this, but it’s not respecting my tablet settings so everything is super skewed. ;-; nooooooo how do I FIX THIS

Does anybody remember this show? Where Mickey had a comedy club that all the classic characters would go to. Every episode there would be a different story line that had to do with the club and at the same time they would play the old Mickey Mouse clips that everyone in the club would watch. Yeah, it was a good show.

This was my favorite show.

once upon a time I was gonna do a graphic novel fanfic in which the house of mouse Mickey gets shot because srsly they were in a bad neighborhood and everything went crazy because he went missing but in the end everything was okay but uh

I don’t think I’ll do that project in retrospect because that’s a bit too messed up, even for me.

Me: I like the way Gosho drew Hakuba’s chin better in the Sunset .. twilight.. manor.. whatever case…
Me: But his face is much cuter in the detective showdown whatever case…
Me: My life is so hard.

I advise you to stop sharing your dreams with people who try to hold you back, even if they’re your parents. Because, if you’re the kind of person who senses there’s something out there for you beyond whatever it is you’re expected to do – if you want to be EXTRA-ordinary – you will not get there by hanging around a bunch of people who tell you you’re not extraordinary. Instead, you will probably become as ordinary as they expect you to be.
