do you ever sit down and think about heiji’s crush on shinichi and how shinichi doesn’t like him that way and then you get sad

I like to think Shinichi’s just better at hiding/more shy about his crush on Heiji

but Heiji still think Shinichi doesn’t like him back and it makes him sad when he’s alone

oh no now i’m picturing sad and alone heiji

now i’m sad too

Here I’ll make you sadder:

Heiji spend a little while with Shinichi but of course Ran’s there two (and maybe Kazuha) and he’s all happy when he’s with Shinichi but when he sees Shinichi and Ran together he can’t help but feel jealous.

When he goes home he gets really depressed because he wants Shinichi to be his but he also wants Shinichi to be happy and figures he’s happy with Ran. So he just feels he has to deal with it and accept that he’ll never be able to be with Shinichi.

And then Shinichi calls him to see that he got home all right ‘n’ stuff and he has to pretend everything is okay.

This situation is not that angsty

You are forgetting that both Heiji and Shinichi are super dumb at emotions. First they have to figure out how gay they are. Then they can angst.

Aaron: I’m… gonna call up my friend Two Mix and get them to record Cruel Angel’s Thesis as Conan.
Me: … o_________o
Aaron: Haha my friend two mix.

At first I was like haha Conan is kicking Heiji’s butt at chess.

And then I realized. There is no way it is Conan’s turn right now. He must have just played. And assuming that Heiji = black king, Conan = white king, and Ran = white queen, this is not a winning move for Conan, or anything approaching it. In fact, he has the pieces for an easy checkmate right now, but instead he’s caused a stalemate. One of two conclusions can be made from this: 1) Conan deliberately tied with Heiji instead of checkmating him or 2) Conan can’t play endgames for shit.

I love the idea of it being a deliberate tie. :3! adorable
