It is difficult to explain just how hard it is to lose weight while weighed down with a lifetime of hurtful words and dirty glances.
Mostly, people don’t choose to be overweight or unhealthy.
My cancer’s in remission, but I’ve still got no thyroid to contend with… and PCOS… and insulin-resistance and chronic undereating and…
well, you know.
Be nice to everyone, okay? A compliment is much more likely to get me to the gym than barbed comments or nagging. it’s not like we’re unaware that we’re fat.
