So, yes, this was a foolhardy venture and KID knew it. Kaitou, apparently, wasn&rsquo;t worried, and didn&rsquo;t seem to be aware of the inherent implications of the choice given to him. Which&hellip; perhaps meant that Hakuba was taking it far too seriously.<\/p>\n<p>It was only a kiss. Nothing more.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Right?<\/p>\n<p>The detective sighed and offered a sheepish, half-hearted smile. &ldquo;My apologies&hellip; I.. just don&rsquo;t want to see you get hurt, Kaitou-san. It appears that my mouth has run away with me yet again&hellip; when, indeed, I should just leave my lips in your care.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>He turned his head and, if not stopped, moved in to take the kiss for himself. Harmless flirting was something he&rsquo;d done countless times before. Kisses were given shamelessly in the right atmosphere.
