KID remained silent as he worked on the lock, the door clicking open in a manner of seconds.\u00a0 One day he\u2019d have to officially thank Chikage for letting him play with locks so much as a child; it was an extremely useful skill for someone such as himself.\u00a0 Still, he barely noticed Hakuba there until he was standing up and opening the door, allowing his guest to enter first.\u00a0 To say the least, he hadn\u2019t noticed the stain on his suit, and the low lighting still made it difficult to discern any dark spots on Hakuba.<\/p>\n

“Physically, yes.\u00a0 Right now.\u00a0 Are you?"\u00a0 The thief frowned in worry, waiting for Hakuba to enter first and closing the door behind them.\u00a0 He was careful to relock it, hoping to avoid suspicion.\u00a0 Carelessness always spoiled a getaway, and with an innocent in tow, he refused to take unnecessary risks.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hakuba moved through the door, getting out of the way before looking back at Kaitou again. "I think…” he began to say, then really looked at himself. Tear in his suit in three places, two of which were wet with blood as he touched them. That was… troubling. He grimaced, touching and prodding at the wounds to feel how deep they were, though it was difficult to tell.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I’ve been hit, I think. Ah, I hope that’s not\u00a0my<\/em> blood on your suit.” He gestured toward the \u00a0dark splotches on white. He turned back to the rest of the room. “I’m going to see if there are any utilities running to this place, still…"\u00a0<\/p>\n

The shop, despite being closed, was full of clothing racks and shelves. Costumes, dresses, wigs, and props a-plenty. The detective thought it was a little eerie, honestly, and strayed past the row of really creepy manikins.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
