And anxious. Not that the detective actually had any <em>proof <\/em>that he was KID, but\u2014<\/p>\n<p>\u2026Had he just said he\u2019d been <em>sloppy?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;How could I have been <em>sloppy<\/em><em>?<\/em> I wasn\u2019t even <em>there!<\/em>&rdquo; Kaito protested, pushing away from the wall with a far from pleased expression, but before Hakuba could answer, he waved a hand and turned in the direction of the kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Y\u2019know what? Don\u2019t answer that. I\u2019m <em>so<\/em> not in the mood for an argument. \u2026What kinda pizza do you want?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/f15002a5841f978f788e718348d16903\/tumblr_inline_mpi5p5NfoC1qz4rgp.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was maddening, how Kaito continually avoided the admission that they both knew. But, in this instance, Hakuba decided to let it slide &#8211; just for the time being. After all, he was already on very dangerous ground, having walked right into enemy territory without even calling ahead.
