Sometimes.&ldquo;<\/p>\n<p>He hadn\u2019t forgotten about their previous conversation though, but it seemed Hakuba had no further desire to continue it and as concerned as it really did make him, KID wasn\u2019t about to put further pressure on him.<\/p>\n<p>From the looks of it, that was far from what the detective needed.<\/p>\n<p>So instead, he &#8211; a little reluctantly, because as well as he hid it, it was rather <em>embarrassing.<\/em> In a lot more ways than one &#8211; went along with the change in subject, lips quirking into a small, teasing grin. \u201cBut a thief is a thief and as much as that was a delivery, I <em>did<\/em> steal <em>something<\/em> too, didn\u2019t I?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/2cf6a50f98f323a0325cbf132e9d9a03\/tumblr_inline_mpvckgj6pT1qz4rgp.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hakuba was greatly relieved that the change in topic had been accepted, and he smirked faintly at the question. &ldquo;Steal something? I suppose that you did, yes&hellip; but I wonder if that&rsquo;s only because you didn&#8217;t\u00a0<em>ask<\/em> first.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The detective wondered briefly if he was tempting fate. It would be so easy for KID to reject even that little tease. But then, the thief\u00a0<em>had<\/em> broken into his bedroom in the middle of the night. And, under pretense of a delivery or not, that probably said something.
