High society functions reign on the weekends, and I\u2019m expected to participate. Fortunately, this usually includes ample access to alcohol, which helps get me through the evening. The available company is also sometimes interesting. \u00a0Otherwise, I can be found reading, reading, reading at home. Unless I\u2019m in London, in which case, you\u2019ll find me at pub playing billiards and doing what we Brits do best: drinking.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/f5e1606705892eede16a16e3d3e7c052\/tumblr_inline_mpwti1Y8nB1rms2iz.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Speaking of which\u2026 As many have said now, staying hydrated is the best way to avoid a hangover. Make sure to drink a lot of water, and don\u2019t drink on an empty stomach. Know your limits and don\u2019t push past them. As fun as being drunk sounds, it usually isn\u2019t.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/0be62a245d7d24045905bb700bec08f1\/tumblr_inline_mpwtnkkkyR1rms2iz.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Now, if it\u2019s already too late for that and you\u00a0<em>are<\/em> hungover, make sure to get some rest, take some aspirin, drink a lot more water, and try coffee or tomato juice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/e7a61ed27862be26f9b3de7b77b3717a\/tumblr_inline_mpwtnuX93F1rms2iz.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&quot;Also, I find that it\u2019s quite sobering to\u00a0<em>try<\/em> to make some kind of magical hangover cure, because it is often disgusting and will discourage further drinking.
