She could almost\u00a0<em>feel\u00a0<\/em>the waves of anxiety rolling off of him. She could definitely see the anxiety in his tense stance, the shorts (Hakuba-san, representative Detective of the East, did not wear shorts).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/f184166cf61127b2ea0217ff79646b84\/tumblr_inline_mqflo9gfYU1qz4rgp.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;First time?&rdquo; The poor dear looked out-of-sorts in his <em>tank top<\/em> and those\u00a0<em>shorts,\u00a0<\/em>far from his usual dapper suit. \u201cYou can sit next to me, if you like.&ldquo;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/329b7a4c213fae5a76242048033ad5b5\/tumblr_inline_mqo111I02L1qz4rgp.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hakuba swallowed hard, turning to look at the girl who&rsquo;d called his attention. As if the embarrassment weren&rsquo;t palpable enough on its own, his face tinted with the attention.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Ah&hellip; yes, it&rsquo;s&hellip; ah, my first day.&rdquo; Which is what she&rsquo;d just asked you. The detective winced at his own inability to speak in any sort of coherent manner, and raised a hand to rub at the side of his neck. &ldquo;Ah&hellip; uhm, sure.. I&rsquo;ll sit with you. Thank you.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>He abandoned his hope of hiding in the darkest corners of the classroom and instead cam to stand, and ultimately sit, next to Akira.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m, ah&hellip; Hakuba, by the way. Hakuba Saguru.&rdquo; He extended a hand toward her. &ldquo;And you, miss?&rdquo; \u00a0Had he not been so distracted by his plight, he might have made a comment about how the girl was cute or sweet or something like that. \u00a0Alas, he was too out of his comfort zone to even think about it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>harajukuharuspex: &ldquo;Hey!&rdquo; Akira waved at Hakuba.
