Somehow not a single person stopped her as she practically ran home; fueled by nothing but fear and adrenaline. She also somehow managed to stay conscious despite all she had been through.<\/p>\n<p><em>Of course<\/em> it had been a trap. She expected absolutely nothing else &#8211; that\u2019s why she locked up her computer and shut down Alter Ego except for microphone and camera functions (the program was already powering itself back up when Kyouko arrived home, but there were more important things to think about than the increasingly worried computer). Minimizing her casualties &#8211; it was best she didn\u2019t lose anything important at her home just in case something happened to her.<\/p>\n<p>The detective stumbled into the bathroom and collapsed onto the toilet seat. With a towel and a roll of bandages in hand, she lifted up her shirt and flinched at the sight. It looked a lot worse than it was, because only half of the blood was hers.
