The sudden intrusion startled the tea party occupants, but fortunately not a drop was spilled. The foreign detective paused with his hold on the tea cup just inches from his face, poised for another sip.<\/p>\n

“Well, I\u00a0was<\/em> all right until\u00a0you<\/em> showed up. Is there any particular reason why you\u2019ve decided to drop by today, unannounced, Hattori? As you can see, I\u2019m very busy at this particular moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hakuba brought the cup the rest of the way and took a nice, long sip from the cup before setting it back down, silently, on a tiny, matching plate. He then glanced to his plush company – a well-worn rabbit, a little black dragon (that may have been a modified Toothless), a relatively new-looking tiger, and a giraffe whose neck was bent under the weight of its head.\u00a0<\/p>\n
