Character in general:<\/em>\u00a0Saguru James Hakuba is a side-character detective (among what, the 21048359u4ohaxdfjogij04389yh597239 others in the series) whose probably distinguishing factor is his half-heritage. Side-characters don\u2019t normally have a very elaborate background, but that sort of vague space allows for a lot of potential character creativity and this blog has it in good spades!
How they play them:\u00a0<\/em>It\u2019s a general consensus from the Detective Conan fandom: Hakuba is not a particularly likable character, and probably not at the top of everyone\u2019s favourite character list. Even I had a particular dislike of the guy (although that is mostly the fault of fanfiction)\u2026 until I threaded with this one.\u00a0Seriously, did you cast some weird cultist magic on me to get me to like this character?<\/strike>\u00a0Truthfully, how this British detective is played hits all my preferences: the detailed background history, headcanons, and quality interactions that coincide very well with the former two. This is quality blog right here guys, quality blog!
