As the bird landed on his shoulder he began chirping and talking to the magician. Kaito laughed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Shiori, Hakuba is someone precious, please be nice to him.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>There was a short chirp as if saying \u2018but\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I\u2019m sorry he messed with your nest but I can\u2019t go up stairs.&rdquo; Kaito replied and stroked the dove\u2019s back tenderly. Shiroi cooed softly and nestled up on to the back of the couch.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kaito sighed and looked up to the the detective.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/31.media.tumblr.com\/02098b86af602f6d026009864f0f4d7b\/tumblr_inline_nbzioguVjZ1rms2iz.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hakuba took the stairs carefully, even after the bird had left, smirking. &ldquo;I&rsquo;m precious now?&rdquo; he asked, letting his amusement show in lieu of how sweet he thought that was. &ldquo;He needn&rsquo;t worry; I&rsquo;ll replace the pillows in the morning if he likes.
