Just as his parents, Hakuba was a pacifist to a fault, but everyone, he supposed, had their limits.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His happened to be assassins with which he had a personal grudge against.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Even then, the weapon was meant to be more of an intimidating tactic than anything. Hakuba wanted Spider to know that he was serious, and that he was more than capable of transcending the apparent typical high school detective convention where necessary.
