I had an urge to give the drawings a new life, so I started work on a narrative-heavy lawyering game that made use of the assets.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some gifs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/31.media.tumblr.com\/c6bf0c57ab532b60218ab98b485651cb\/tumblr_inline_nbfwb6LbKt1sz4acd.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/31.media.tumblr.com\/9e46fd914c1a3e7824b8378da74dffe2\/tumblr_inline_nbfw5nLyCS1sz4acd.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/31.media.tumblr.com\/9ea488e1a41427ded0713666a68bf16b\/tumblr_inline_nbfwztVlN01sz4acd.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The underlying engine is about half complete (JSON files contain all the dialog, choice mechanics, and level transitions), but the writing has a long way to go.<\/p>\n<p>For those curious: the source of the character drawings is <em>Sc\u00e8nes de la vie priv\u00e9e et publique des animaux<\/em> (Scenes of the public and private life of animals), illustrated by <span class=\"nickname\">Jean-Jacques Grandville<\/span>.
