He was fine. They both were fine. The thief hadn\u2019t known if imitating Nakamori\u2019s voice to pretend the task force was coming would work, but it seemed it had. The assassin hadn\u2019t been there when he stepped out\u2026 but Hakuba sat slumped against the wall, immediately drawing the thief\u2019s attention as he rushed over to check for signs that the other was okay. No bleeding and still had a heartbeat, thank god. He\u2019d waited a few moments before taking the radio out of the teen\u2019s pocket and making an actual announcement, in his own voice, that the detective had met with some trouble on the roof and might need help.<\/p>\n<p>And then, instead of rushing off, he\u2019d waited, walking back and forth, muttering to himself. He wanted to be sure they actually did come.<\/p>\n<p>Kid stared a minute before walking back to the teen and kneeling down.
