Greetings, inquisitive visitors! As you well may know, I am Saguru Hakuba. I\u2019m seventeen, my birthday is the 29th of August, my blood type is A. Height: 180cm, weight: 65kg. My hair is blonde, just like my mother\u2019s, but my eyes are brown like my father\u2019s. I\u2019m at the top of my class in school and am fluent in English, Japanese, and French.<\/p>\n

Oh, and I\u2019m a detective. With over 500 cases solved in Japan alone, and 300 internship hours under my belt, it\u2019s no wonder that I\u2019ve been called the Sherlock Holmes of a new century.<\/p>\n

Several months ago, I came across some information about a jewel thief in Japan that was getting a large amount of publicity all across the world. Normally, my field focus is on cold case homicide, but with the nature of this thief\u2019s heists and the particular interest he was getting\u2026 I decided to take a closer look.<\/p>\n

Since my father is the highest ranking officer in Japan – indeed, the Superintendent General, it was an easy transfer from London, and put me in a prime position to investigate. Through my father\u2019s connections and my own network and observation, I was able to determine Kaitou KID\u2019s true identity.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Why isn\u2019t he in jail, you might ask? The answer is simple\u2026 I\u2019m not through with him yet. KID\u2019s made some terrible enemies, some of whom I have been tracking for quite some time. Besides, there\u2019s no telling what will happen to him when he\u2019s finally caught, and I think it\u2019d be rather unsporting for anyone to try to take revenge while he\u2019s locked in a steel cage. Better to let the fox have run of the hen house – at least for the time being.<\/p>\n

Because Kaitou KID is typically non-violent and returns what he steals, he\u2019s not exactly within my jurisdiction. And, honestly, it\u2019s much more fun to watch little Edogawa-kun try his luck. He\u2019s a promising little detective, that Conan-kun. I think I should like to make him my apprentice some day, when he\u2019s old enough.<\/p>\n

Will I give up Kaitou KID\u2019s identity? Perhaps, in time. Certainly not to you, dear readers, but you have my apologies. It just wouldn\u2019t be fair. But then, not everyone has full access to a private crime lab, unrestricted access to far too many files, and a personal database with case files built up over the past several years on every person I\u2019ve had a meaningful interaction with\u2026<\/p>\n

Ahem.<\/p>\n

Even without the nonsense of Kaitou KID, there are plenty of things to keep me busy. Case upon case from my clients, assisting officers in my father\u2019s department, school, dating\u2026 Oh, and the charity events. The problem with being a member of the high society crowd are all of the benefits and auctions and ridiculous, high-brow parties that you\u2019re required to attend.<\/p>\n

Though, that\u2019s all par for the course, I\u2019m afraid. I wonder if my colleagues have to deal with similar time-wasting rubbish. Truthfully, the only teen detectives that I keep track of these days are Kudo Shinichi and Hattori Heiji\u2026 the former having been \u2018missing\u2019 for over a year now (it is one of my most frustrating ongoing cases), and the latter being one of the most difficult people to work with in my entire career.<\/p>\n

Such a shame, as we have so much in common\u2026<\/p>\n
