“Yes, apparently I can! There seem to be no problems with that whatsoever. Thus surprises me somewhat, however, as I am quite a bit different from my human self… But at least I have recently discovered that I do, indeed, have ears! They were merely buried in my mane.”

“Yes. As it turns out, these wings aren’t really made for flying so much as gliding. I appear to be some sort of mix between a Western and Eastern dragon, which is… rather odd, all things considered. Anyway, what I was getting at was that when I want to fly, the air around me begins to whip around and sends me spiraling – like a wing sock, I want to say? The wings seem to act as a steering wheel more than anything. Quite handy, but different from what I expected.”

“On that note, I can’t help but feel as if I am that charming fellow from The Flight of Dragons film. As such, I feel it is important to document the following features that perplex me regarding my recently acquired form: 

• Purple tongue? Much like a giraffe’s.
• Red eyes instead of brown?
• Mane on top, scales in the middle, rabbit fur underneath?
• Tiny goat ears?

“Exceptionally soft on the underbelly, thick and fluffy on the mane. The bridge of my snout appears to be short, dense fur on scales. Very peculiar.”

“Fire does not appear to be a problem. I have yet to try out other magical feats, however, as I continually feel the need to nap on that pile of books. It has made it difficult to get anything constructive done. Ah – though, I did manage to get the most amusing scream out of Baaya earlier… huzzah!”
