Hakuba/Shinichi

Mun’s Theories:

who cooks normally?: Hakuba. He probably let Shinichi cook once, and that was that. 

how often do they fight?: Once a week, depending on how lonely Hakuba is feeling. More often otherwise. Occasionally have a BIG FIGHT. Hakuba probably always gives in.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Work, work, and more work. 

nicknames for each other?: ’Half-brit Half-wit’ for Hakuba (or just ‘Hakuba’), ‘Meitantei,’ for Shinichi.

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Hakuba takes care of the bills. All bills. From whatever account. 

who steals the covers at night?: Shinichi.

what would they get each other for gifts?: Books. Just one each for special occasions. 

who remembers things?: Hakuba, mostly. Think of this as a Sherlock Holmes and John Watson relationship. Shinichi’s too busy being brilliant to worry about stupid domestic details. 

who cusses more?: Probably Shinichi, since everything is ‘kuso this’ and ‘baarou’ that.  

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: When Hakuba’s hurt, Shinichi mutters and helps him when Hakuba whimpers and asks. When Shinichi is hurt, Hakuba goes about taking care of while trying to get him to calm down because he’s probably raving about how great things were or how frustrated he is. ….damn.

who kissed who first?: Hakuba kissed Shinichi because Shinichi probably never would have otherwise. 

who made the first move?: Hakuba, most likely, forever after that first kiss and stealing more kisses, like a very, very patient vulture. 

who started the relationship?: Hakuba finally broke down and asked him to give him a straight answer after hinting forever and Shinichi shrugged and said “I guess?”

Mun’s Theories:

who cooks normally?: Hakuba. He likes to bring her breakfast in bed, especially.

how often do they fight?: Not often… they understand that they both have sort of a sketchy past (OR VERY SKETCHY/MURDEROUS) and are trying to work through it. They are very civil in their discussions. 

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Work, school, texting. Normal things. 

nicknames for each other?: ’Darling’ for Shiho, ‘Dear’ for Hakuba.

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Hakuba insists. 

who steals the covers at night?: Shiho, and Hakuba doesn’t mind.

what would they get each other for gifts?: Clothes, jewelry, books, shot glasses.

who remembers things?: They both do. It’s just understood that that is proper. 

who cusses more?: Shiho. Mostly to get Hakuba to lighten up, I think. He thinks it’s very amusing. 

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Calmly discuss the physiological and then the psychological reactions of whatever wounds (even emotional), and express their fascination with how complex the human body is while treating it. 

who kissed who first?:  Shiho totally kissed Hakuba first, at a party. New Years or something. 

who made the first move?: Shiho, again, because Hakuba was trying so hard to be good and treat her like a lady and she just got fed up with it! 

who started the relationship?:  Hakuba finally manned up and asked her to go out with him. Aw. This is actually pretty cute. Who knew?! *careful glance at Bear*

who cooks normally?: They eat out/get take out almost exclusively.

how often do they fight?: They are professional not-talkers about the problems. Fights are probably every six months or so and are awful.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Worry. Work. 

nicknames for each other?: ’Schatz’ for Hakuba, ‘Baron’ for Janus

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: They take turns.

who steals the covers at night?: JANUS. Mostly because he usually goes to bed first. 

what would they get each other for gifts?: Usually nothing. Weapons, maybe.  

who remembers things?: Hakuba. He offers gentle reminders from time to time. 

who cusses more?: Janus. Easily.  

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Get out the sutures and alcohol. 

who kissed who first?: …Hakuba, while drinking. 

who made the first move?: …Hakuba, when he was drunk. (I didn’t even have to change this – again.)

who started the relationship?:  Hakuba, because he couldn’t stand the jealousy of not knowing if Janus was going to get drunk and make mistakes with OTHER PEOPLE.

who cooks normally?: Hakuba. He doesn’t trust Gin in the kitchen. If Vodka comes, too, they can team-cook. 

how often do they fight?: Never, though there are passive aggressive comments often. Overly apologetic to each other. 

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Work. You know, since Gin is an assassin and Hakuba is a detective, they sometimes cross paths but usually they have completely different business circles… 🙂 

nicknames for each other?: ’Tall’ for Gin, ‘Brit’ for Hakuba.

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: They go back and forth. Hakuba always  pays for drinks, though.

who steals the covers at night?: GIN. And Hakuba is too afraid to ask for them back. He goes  blanketless most nights. 

what would they get each other for gifts?: Food. Always food. 

who remembers things?: Hakuba has to as Gin remembers nothing. Sends him constant reminders via text. ‘Don’t forget that you’re supposed to assassinate x target at this time! See you at home!’ 

who cusses more?: Hakuba, to fill the silence.  

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Take another trip to the ER. Sigh a lot. 

who kissed who first?: Gin kissed Hakuba first. They were likely drunk.

who made the first move?: …Hakuba, when he was drunk. (I didn’t even have to change this.)

who started the relationship?:  Gin, because Vermouth wouldn’t stop teasing him about it. But then, Vermouth’s teasing backfired because they united against her since she’s pretty much the worst, they say. And discuss often, sympathizing with each other one how mean she is.

Mun’s Theories:

who cooks normally?: Neither. Hakuba would try for a while, but mostly I think they would eat separately or, in Hakuba’s case, not at all.

how often do they fight?: Often, I think, and explosively. Lots of yelling and threats. And fists, perhaps. MAYBE EVEN KNIVES. 

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Feel relieved. 

nicknames for each other?: ’Guru’ for Hakuba, ‘Baron’ for Janus.

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: They pay for themselves except for when they’re feeling extremely passive aggressive. 

who steals the covers at night?: Hakuba, but he’s a very light sleeper so he fixes it whenever he wakes up.   

what would they get each other for gifts?: Consumables or nothing. 

who remembers things?: Hakuba, but then he doesn’t bring anything up.

who cusses more?: Janus. Probably because of Hakuba. 

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Grumble at the other while they patch them up. Then be mad that they were being reckless — again. 

who kissed who first?: Hakuba kissed Janus. Because he was drunk. (I’m noticing a pattern here.)

who made the first move?: …Hakuba, when he was drunk.

who started the relationship?:  It just sort of happened and any sort of ‘let’s discuss this’ ended up in a fight so they just are and it’s all sorts of insecure and messed up.

Mun’s Theories:

who cooks normally?: Hakuba wants to cook all of the things for Kaito. So unless Kaito says otherwise, Hakuba will. 

how often do they fight?: The banter will probably never stop, but I imagine it turns from empty, teasing insults to shameless flirting fairly quickly. The stuff they do fight about, though, is usually about life and death situations, being worried about each other, keeping secrets… and that stuff is painful. Fortunately, they’re probably good about not talking about it (even though that would help things). 

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Maintain their separate interests and hobbies… but I can see Hakuba becoming an excessive texter if Kaito will humor him and text back.  

nicknames for each other?: HMMM…  I know I had a nickname for him written down somewhere before… but hmmm…  I keep wanting to say ‘Pan’ as in ‘Peter Pan’ for Kaito, which would make Hakuba ‘Wendy.’ I wonder… 

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Hakuba prefers to and Kaito allows it as long as he’s able to make a joke about forcing Hakuba to or stealing his card or something, and Hakuba enjoys that.

who steals the covers at night?: Kaito. Definitely Kaito.  

what would they get each other for gifts?: Books. Chocolate. 

who remembers things?: Hakuba. And then doesn’t remind Kaito to see if he’ll remember anniversaries and the like. And then gets pouty if it seems like it’s been forgotten. 

who cusses more?: It’s about equal. 

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: EXCESSIVE FRETTING! Calm while giving medical care. Lots of pampering. 

who kissed who first?: I think it was Hakuba kissing Kaito first, by Kaito’s dare/request. 

who made the first move?: Oh goodness. This is the big question, isn’t it? Oh ho~ Hakuba’s not likely do do something unless he is 84% certain that it will be well-received and is desired. But if he gets that idea, it’ll be he that does it. Otherwise, Kaito will have to take charge.  … … oh wait this is pretending this has already happened. Uh. Let’s say that Kaito got frustrated by Hakuba not doing anything and made said move. 

who started the relationship?:  Hakuba. Nervous and shy and fretting tried to put on his bravest, suavest face and then…!

Hakuba/ Akai Shuuichi (okiya-subaru mun)

Mun’s Theories:

who cooks normally?: Oooh, they’d totally have to share the responsibility. Okiya is a wonderful cook, as is Hakuba. In fact, I imagine that they sometimes spend entire weekends doing nothing but cooking and baking things and then giving them to everyone they know because they’ve made too much but oh wasn’t it fun? I imagine they have a flat screen in the kitchen for watching all of Gordon Ramsay’s shows while they do it, too. 

how often do they fight?: Nothing but tender bickering and teasing. It’s very low-key. 

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Investigate things. Interrogations. I can see them being the type to really just… want to be around each other even for things like going to the bookstore. ‘Oh, look at this interesting thing, I never noticed that before.’ ‘Here is some trivia about this thing.’ ‘Fascinating!’ 

nicknames for each other?: ’Sensei’ for Okiya, ‘Kohai’ for Hakuba. Wow that’s awkward. Nono let’s fix this. Hmmm. What about… hmm… … … well, idk. They’re both srs business so whatever. We’re lucky they have sensei and kohai. 

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: …I betcha they go dutch except on special occasions. Too independent to let the other pay for them.

who steals the covers at night?: Hakuba, since he curls up next to/behind Okiya and bunches up the blankets in the process. 

what would they get each other for gifts?: Books, cooking supplies, vacations.

who remembers things?: They both do and are meticulous about updating their paper and electronic calculators and schedules. So organized! 

who cusses more?: Hakuba. At least out loud. 

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Quietly/calmly administer medical aid with generic, reassuring comments. They’d keep careful watch on each other to make sure things were healing but otherwise not fuss too much. 

who kissed who first?: HMMM…. I’m gonna say it was Okiya on this one. Perhaps after a particularly difficult depression sink for Hakuba, with Okiya trying to cheer him up and then oops. 

who made the first move?: Hakuba, when drunk. “Kohai, what are you-“ 

who started the relationship?: Okiya felt guilty for “taking advantage” of his kohai (who was definitely the guilty party here) and tried to make it right/honest by asking him out. YEP.

Kita and Hakuba

Mun’s Theories:

who cooks normally?: HMMM… Hakuba’s staff. He’d hire a chef because he’s going to be busy working and wouldn’t want Kita to have to do it. 

how often do they fight?: I can see Hakuba trying to avoid fighting with her at any cost. Which means not often, but when they do, it’s awful. And then he locks himself in his office for the night and works, trying to shut it out. 

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Probably maintain their current life style. During the day-  working, school, detectiving, and then at night they go back to the same place and ask about how each other’s cases are. 

nicknames for each other?: Hakuba calls her Kita-kitten, Kita calls him Honeybear. 

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Hakuba is swift with his credit card. 

who steals the covers at night?: Hmmm… I think they’d be one of those couples where they wake up in the morning and find that the covers have slipped off of the foot of the bed from all of their tossing and turning and they’re just confused?! like ‘wait how?’ 

what would they get each other for gifts?: Jewelry, books, vacations, and lots of clothes. 

who remembers things?: Hakuba remembers the important things while Kita remembers the sentimental things.

who cusses more?: It’s about equal, at least when they’re alone together. Otherwise, Heiji. 

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Calmly administer medical aid if it’s for Kita, yell at him for being stupid if it’s Hakuba. 😀

who kissed who first?: Hakuba did it without thinking after they solved a case together. 

who made the first move?: Kita, on their third date after that.

who started the relationship?: Hakuba felt pressured into it and asked her to be his girlfriend even though that’s generally against his policies.

Ship: Hakuba/Hattori Heiji (Meitanteiosaka)

Mun’s Theories:

who cooks normally?: Hakuba. He’s been trained, is good at, and enjoys it, though I believe Heiji would learn to cook his Osakan favorites because he thinks Hakuba can’t do it right for some reason.

how often do they fight?: Every. Single. Day. Usually nothing serious, though. I think the constant bantering keeps the pressure fairly low. 

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Work, probably. I bet they both do a lot of work. All the time. Together, not together, just working. Heiji keeps up Kendou, though, and Hakuba probably has some sort of stupid hobby… 

nicknames for each other?: Heiji’d call Hakuba “Damn Prat” and Hakuba would call Heiji “Savage Brute” — hey these aren’t very nice, are they? 

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: They fight over it because they’re both spoiled rich kids with hearts of gold. 

who steals the covers at night?: HEIJI. THAT BASTARD. 

what would they get each other for gifts?: Books. When they get their own place it’s almost nothing but bookshelves. 

who remembers things?: Hakuba, definitely.

who cusses more?: It’s about equal, at least when they’re alone together. Otherwise, Heiji. 

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Freak out and transform into the Mamma Bear or Mother Hen that they are. All of the cuddling and gentleness. 

who kissed who first?: Heiji kissed Hakuba first, while they were drunk. Probably because Hakuba was saying that Heiji’d never do it. 

who made the first move?: Once the kiss happened it was all over and Hakuba ATTACKED~ 

who started the relationship?: Heiji, since Hakuba was too shy to, oddly enough.
