Sycamores, Orange Roses, and a single Orange Lily and Sunflower are laid on the other’s desk that day, Begonias and Lavender wrapped up in a separate bouquet and set on the school chair.

ROSE (ORANGE): Fascination
LILY (ORANGE): Hatred
SUNFLOWER: Gratitude

BEGONIA: Warning
LAVENDER: Distrust

Alas, it doesn’t pay the bills. I’ve been working on novels, but… who knows. It’s a fickle business, writing. And I’ve got to keep a roof over our heads and food in the house.
