Yes!!! It is a topic that I have thought a great deal about in the past (as part of my research for writing this character and trying to figure out wtf motivates his preferences), so I am thrilled to have the chance to discuss it.

yes pretty much. your roleplays are v entertaining but i dont have anythign to say as a non-rp blog, as with most roleplay blogs in any fandom. (hakuba is too detective for all of you)

Mun’s Theories:
who cooks normally?: Hakuba, happy to play as her servant. Probably went to a lot of effort to learn a bunch of vegetarian dishes (because I love koizumiakako’s take on that). He probably loves when she insists, though.
how often do they fight?: Lots of constant bickering, I like to think of it as birds chattering at each other. Endless teasing and banter. But I think they kind of like it.
what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Think about how to win the heart of Kuroba Kaito. Oh, and, like… work and make potions and stuff.
nicknames for each other?: ‘M’eudail’ or ‘White Knight’ (teasing) for Hakuba, and ‘Lever du soleil’ for Akako.
who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Hakuba. He loves to treat, spoil, and serve.
who steals the covers at night?: I’m gonna say Akako on this one. (Why doesn’t Hakuba ever steal the covers? Hakuba, you are not perfect, stop pretending.)
what would they get each other for gifts?: …books. Charms. Clothes. They go shopping together a lot and Hakuba is happy to spend money on her (and himself).
who remembers things?: They both do, but it’s a guessing game of what events will be considered important or not. With set appointments/dates, though, they are always punctual and dependable.
who cusses more?: Hakuba, usually out of frustration at himself for getting worked up over his insecurities. Starts rambling and then can’t shut up and then- yeah.
what would they do if the other one was hurt?: He apologizes repeatedly, regardless of what happened or who was at fault, does what he can to pamper. I suspect that Akako does the same only without the apologies. Maybe acts a little put out about it but… I think she would reassure him.
who kissed who first?: Hakuba kissed her first after asking permission. He was terribly nervous.
who made the first move?: Akako, this time, impatient with Hakuba’s inability to man up. Ahahaha.
who started the relationship?: Hakuba, once it was clear that things were all right to (and had received many direct hints and orders on the subject), asked her to go out with him. Which he might have done anyway, eventually, even without the LOVE SPELL THAT SHE CAST ON HIM.
Hakuba’s Thoughts:
“Koizumi-san is both beautiful and dangerous. A relationship with her would be difficult to maintain if only because of the careful balance needed to keep things tipped on the positive side of the scale. When things are good, they’re very good— even after the breakup. When things were/are bad, however… well, I won’t go into detail, but rest-assured I’ve spent more than a few nights crying over her. I’m pleased that we’ve become friends again… I can only hope that this continues, wherever it leads.”
Hakuba/Kaitou KID (Phantom-theif-kid)
Mun’s Theories:
who cooks normally?: I’m gonna say that KID lets Hakuba cook because he wants Hakuba to feel useful.
how often do they fight?: There’s probably lots of minor disagreements that are worked out easily enough (usually it’s ‘Hakuba, stop FREAKING OUT’ ‘I DON’T KNOW HOW’), and then a larger argument when one of them does something dangerous.
what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Socialize, read, work… Hakuba texts all the time, though.
nicknames for each other?: ’Mon cher voleur’ for Kaito, ‘Dear Detective’ for Hakuba.
who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Hakuba tries. KID insists that he can take care of his own, too, though… so they probably go back and forth.
who steals the covers at night?: KID. Which makes Hakuba curl up close to him.
what would they get each other for gifts?: Books, magic trick stuff, little knick knacks, tokens of affection.
who remembers things?: They’re both pretty good at remembering things, at least the important stuff. They overlap, and because Hakuba tries to not seem too needy, doesn’t mention things like anniversaries and birthdays.. and since Hakuba doesn’t mention them, KID assumes that Hakuba doesn’t care about them…
who cusses more?: Hakuba. And it’s usually ‘GOD DAMMIT KID WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE SHOT?! SHIT!”
what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Force the fretting aside, quickly and carefully attend to wounds and after care. They’re both very concerned about each other’s well-being.
who kissed who first?: KID totally kissed Hakuba first. On a rooftop. It was surprising and romantic.
who made the first move?: KID did because Hakuba is a complete wuss.
who started the relationship?: UHMMM… I think Hakuba finally breaks down in this one, too… corners him, asks him for a straight answer, no more riddles and puzzles and all of that jazz. But I imagine it’s always going to be “complicated.”
Hakuba’s Thoughts:

Hakuba/Shinichi
Mun’s Theories:
who cooks normally?: Hakuba. He probably let Shinichi cook once, and that was that.
how often do they fight?: Once a week, depending on how lonely Hakuba is feeling. More often otherwise. Occasionally have a BIG FIGHT. Hakuba probably always gives in.
what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Work, work, and more work.
nicknames for each other?: ’Half-brit Half-wit’ for Hakuba (or just ‘Hakuba’), ‘Meitantei,’ for Shinichi.
who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Hakuba takes care of the bills. All bills. From whatever account.
who steals the covers at night?: Shinichi.
what would they get each other for gifts?: Books. Just one each for special occasions.
who remembers things?: Hakuba, mostly. Think of this as a Sherlock Holmes and John Watson relationship. Shinichi’s too busy being brilliant to worry about stupid domestic details.
who cusses more?: Probably Shinichi, since everything is ‘kuso this’ and ‘baarou’ that.
what would they do if the other one was hurt?: When Hakuba’s hurt, Shinichi mutters and helps him when Hakuba whimpers and asks. When Shinichi is hurt, Hakuba goes about taking care of while trying to get him to calm down because he’s probably raving about how great things were or how frustrated he is. ….damn.
who kissed who first?: Hakuba kissed Shinichi because Shinichi probably never would have otherwise.
who made the first move?: Hakuba, most likely, forever after that first kiss and stealing more kisses, like a very, very patient vulture.
who started the relationship?: Hakuba finally broke down and asked him to give him a straight answer after hinting forever and Shinichi shrugged and said “I guess?”
Hakuba’s Thoughts:
“We’d probably be most happy when working on cases together, but I would have to get used to losing and feeling ignorant… all the time. And never being impressive or good enough. A downward spiral of inadequacies and insecurities? I admire him, though. So much. And he is very kind and so brilliant. I’m just not good enough for him.”
