How about instead of “I should be doing threads,” (◡‿◡✿).
It should be “I should be doing what makes me happy.” (◕‿◕✿)
If someone is being pushy, or you’re just not comfortable, — or Hell, you don’t even have to feel like it — it’s okay to reply to threads late, or not at all. (◠‿◠✿)

I know it’s hard. I know it’s stressful, but pushing yourself to do things won’t make you happy. (◕︿◕✿)

Take compliments. Relax. Do a bunch of ask memes, hang out with friends, enjoy yourself however in the world you want! If you’ve got good roleplay partners, they’ll understand. (◡‿◡✿)

Roleplaying is about fun — and I guarantee, once you stop beating yourself up so much, you’ll be happier. Have some confidence in yourself, stop trying to match up to others! Because when it comes down to it, you’ll always be you.

ooc mun’s fanfic writing thoughts

More and more I am convinced that, one day, I’m gonna flip some tables and then sit down and write an epic fic of /all/ of Hakuba’s appearences in DCMK, novel-style. It’d framed and chronological, cemented together with headcanon theories (leaving out rp-specific details), and attempt to explain some of my feels for this character. It would be long. And make people mad. But be fun. And I have been hinting at it for forever.

((And then I feel guilty for neglecting poor Conan omg. Even after the epic Shinichi discussion on skype. Ohman. Sorry, Conan.))

Ps. I guess I haven’t hinted at it, just said that I was gonna. First it was just going to be the koushien arc. Then sunset mansion. Now it’s / e v e r y t h i n g / so that I can go into things like how much it must be suck to be a young, foreign detective trying to make it in Japan. Awyeah.

pps. basically it would be a hakuba-centric prequel to the Call of the Raven aka Epic Conan Fanfic that Clover and I are writing.

((YES I HAVE MY MEDS NOW thank you all for worrying. I will be okay. You guys were wonderful for sending me so many reminders – being hypothyroid makes remembering things exceptionally difficult. 

…but now I should be working on NaNo and all I can think about is the Great Gatsby and how Daisy reminds me of someone from my headcanon of Hakuba’s past and all HAKUBA’S just in one of those moods where he’s thinking about sexy sexy people and wanting to do more drunk texting and other things and wow just not getting anything done

You can all rest easy now. Yes, I made an appointment with the doctor and will be going in this afternoon. Fingers crossed that it’s not too expensive, as I no longer have insurance.

I’ve mentioned this before, but I think I’m gonna actually do it after NaNoWriMo… and write out every episode/appearance that Hakuba has from his perspective. Nicely biased and laced with my headcanons- the reasonable ones, anyway. Keep all of the dialogue the same, just lots of inner monologue and, I suppose, fabricated scenes for off screen.

NGL it sounds really fun.
