“I am 180 cm (5’11”) – which isn’t really that tall, all things considered, but in comparison to the rest of the cast, I can see how I might appear so. After all, the national average for men in Japan is 171.2 cm (5’7.4"), 158.8 cm (5’2.6") for females. Clearly, my broad shoulders and tall stature are from my mum’s side of the family… you should see my uncles!
