“Bless you, anon… yes, this is much, much better.”

“Bless you, anon… yes, this is much, much better.”

“…now is not the time.”

“…This is… not funny…”

"…it’s so… awful and oily oh god why can’t I stop?!”

“…Good God… I’ll be the tallest little hobbit of them all.”

“It’s a wonderful city, and large enough to accommodate many different living styles. Public transportation can get you just about anywhere with only a short walk. Or a long one, if you feel up to it. London is perfect for walking. It’s rich with history and fitted with the best of modern conveniences. Truly, a wonder. Definitely visit if you get the chance."

“Ah, I… used to have a crush on Koizumi-san, this is true. And we dated for a little while, in fact. But, ah, things did not… go well… and we are not exactly on good terms any longer…”

“One, I think… Two if you count my governess… but that’s a little sad, isn’t it?”

“Well, that’s… somewhat unusual. And you’re not sure who sent it, Baaya?”
“No, sir… it was on the doorstep this afternoon. Apparently, there was no signature required.”
“The return information is missing, too… That’s troubling. I wasn’t expecting anything.”
“It’s a good thing that you’re a detective, or that might be a problem.”

“Thank you, Baaya.”
Hakuba brought the box to his bedroom and opened it at his desk. “An egg? How peculiar.”
He removed it from the box and handled it gently, inspecting it from top to bottom with interest. “Very curious…” It didn’t appear to be a real egg, at least not any that he was familiar with, so he set it upon his desk to act as a rather large paperweight.

He’d need to get a stand for it to prevent it from rolling off.

“I will put this to great use! Thank you very much, Anonymous-san.”

“Ah- thank you. And here I thought you weren’t going to be one of my fan girls…"
