Next five people to say ‘Mistletoe’ in my askbox get a kiss.
Christmas was just a few more weeks away and the music and decorations in every little shop and streetcorner only made that even more obvious, much to the distress and annoyance to a lot of giftshoppers and simple passerbys.
Dick, however, loved it.
The moment December rolled around, it was like someone had permanently glued a grin to his face and even despite the cold that sometimes got just a little too close to being unbearable, he still couldn’t help but feel so incredibly giddy and jolly.
Seeing that famiiar face turn the corner only served to strengthen that feeling of pure and simple happiness. His expression brightening, Dick fished around in his pocket for the little plant he’d nicked from a store a few blocks away, while swiftly, smoothly closing the distance between himself and the blond detective.
He could see the other’s mouth opening in greeting, but before he could fully form the words, Dick threw an arm around his neck and tugged him down, his other hand happily waving the little mistletoe above their heads.
“Merry Christmas~” he sing-songed, something just a little sly and mischievous flashing across his face as he leaned in that final inch to capture Hakuba’s lips in a warm, long kiss.

so what exactly is a crumpet
that is an english muffin what the heck
British people judging you. So hard.
“As well we should! A crumpet and an english muffin are two entirely different things. Suggesting otherwise would be akin to saying that french toast were synonymous with bagel. Preposterous!”
English Muffins
“English Muffins are dry, and wonderful for a variety of toppings, from sweet to savory. You Americans are likely most familiar with them from fast food breakfast sandwiches, such as the McDonanld’s Egg McMuffin. Ugh.”
Crumpets
“Crumpets, on the other hand, are wonderfully moist and eggy. I prefer them with butter and a bit of honey, though many of my mates back home love lemon curd or various jellies.
"Most of my friends in the states have confessed that they’ve never seen them in stores. Unfortunate, as they’re absolutely lovely. I suggest that you find an import store straight away if you have not had the pleasure of enjoying one before.”
