Matters of the heart [26]
26. If you loved someone but they refused to marry, would you stay with them?
“I suppose that depends on the reason for their unwillingness. After all, same-sex marriages aren’t exactly acceptable in this society… not to mention illegal to perform. Issues with family, too. If we were truly in love, yes of course I’d stay with them… but I’d always wonder why they wouldn’t be willing to make the commitment…"
If you were trapped in a school building at night after hearing about the hauntings of your school and being dragged in due to a deal you could not refuse. What would be your first course of action upon discovering that youve been locked in the school?
“I suppose… that I would need to see if there was anyway that I could contact someone from the outside with the use of my cellphone… unless that was strictly prohibited by the ‘deal’ mentioned earlier. Er, or rather, perhaps I would need to see what was keeping me inside of the school building. Did the locking mechanisms fail? Are the doors simply not opening, perhaps due to paranormal occurrences (electromagnetic fields, perhaps)?
"I think that finding out why and how I was locked in would be the first logical recourse so that I could figure out what kind of culprit I was dealing with. With that discovered, it would simply be a matter of what sort of backup or strategic maneuvers would be best to deal with them.
"…Yes, yes, I think that’s what my first reaction would be.”
“You will be surprised just how many things you humans deem ‘unreal’ or ‘paranormal’ to be nothing but child’s play in my eyes,” whispers in his ear before disappearing into nothing.
“This is highly unnerving… What am I to do about this knowledge?”
Have you ever been called in on a huanting case?
“Ah, yes, I have actually… Several, in fact. They’re, ah, not exactly my favorite to work on, despite being so inherently fascinating. There were quite a few in the United Kingdom that had to do with old castles and within the catacombs – chilling, very chilling."
-floats up to- -IS A GHOST- “Boo~!”
“Ah-ah… he-hello there. Would you like some tea? I’ve, ah, just put the kettle on…”
Do you believe that ghosts really have no feet?
“I think that might be a specifically Japanese or general Asian thing… I don’t feel particularly about it either way. If ghosts should like to have feet, let them have feet!”
camiechan reblogged your post and added:
“"hmmmmm whats wrong Hakuba-senpai, you look like youve seen…a ghost.Hehehehe, actually now that you mention it, Conan-kun is looking a little seethroughlately….hmm…how strange….”
"Don’t be… ridiculous. I saw Edogawa-kun just… the other day and he as just fine…”
