While browsing through some archived public domain books, I stumbled on a goldmine of satirical drawings from a French artist in the 1840s. I had an urge to give the drawings a new life, so I started work on a narrative-heavy lawyering game that made use of the assets.

The underlying engine is about half complete (JSON files contain all the dialog, choice mechanics, and level transitions), but the writing has a long way to go.
For those curious: the source of the character drawings is Scènes de la vie privée et publique des animaux (Scenes of the public and private life of animals), illustrated by Jean-Jacques Grandville. The sources I’ve used for the backgrounds so far are Paris révolutionnaire and Paris à travers les âges.
