new suspicion arc tactic. ran tells heiji that conan told her who he is. heijis like ‘oh okay kudo finally fessed up’ thus unintentionally confirming every suspicion. ran secretly records it on tape, brings it home to conan. series ends as conan implodes in anger at heiji for ruining the masquerade and ran laughs menacingly in background, echo, fade out

wait isn’t this basically how ran was going to confirm conan’s identity in one of my fics? haha

i initially thought of him as ‘arrogant sherlock expy’ after watching movie 10 for the first time but i dont think thats true any more
