What makes your version of Muse different from canon/other blogs: My Hakuba is the incredibly awkward one with the middle name. He also goes by “Hakubby” and is a huge nerd woobie loser playboy dork. I’ve given him several complexes backed up by an entirely fabricated (and angsty) backstory, all of which I use in an attempt to explain and justify his behavior in canon.
Most importantly, though, I’ve gone with the choice of giving him brown eyes (anime) to reflect the warmth that I hope to portray in my interpretation. When he asks the hallmark “[why] did you do that?” question, it’s not because he doesn’t understand human emotion. Rather he seeks to learn the motive and intent, both to increase his empathy and further his understanding of humanity’s complexities.

Fandom synopsis in one sentence:
Detective Conan – Famous high school detective Kudou Shinichi has gone into hiding after an attempt on his life (which left him in the body of a 6 year-old), and now has to solve crimes while pretending not to in an effort to find out how to get his life back.
Magic Kaito – When obnoxious high school class clown Kuroba Kaito discovers that his father was once secretly the illustrious Phantom Thief KID, he must serious up and take on the mantle to discover the truth behind the mysterious circumstances behind his father’s death/murder.

Identifying marks: Scars – Around two dozen scars on his lower back from a fire poker (welts, scrapes, a few deeper gashes) from 7+ years ago; a handful of small scars on his right side (shrapnel blast); and several long, thin and faded scars on his left forearm from bird claws. Brief description: Just shy of 6’0” is Hakuba Saguru, a mop of sandy blonde hair over a tall, sturdy frame. Despite being a teenager, he carries himself like someone much older, chin up, expression reserved, brown eyes ever-observant. He tends to make people feel intimidated, but that may also be the ever-formal attire that he prefers.
It’s rare to see him in anything but a suit— dress slacks, matching dark socks, expensive shoes, belt, collared button-up shirt, tie, and expensive suit jacket that compliments his broad shoulders very nicely. The detective is meticulous about the care of his clothing and himself, always clean shaven, hair deliberately quaffed, nails manicured, attire neatly pressed. That isn’t to say that he doesn’t ever get dirty, however… often enough, he’ll have blood-stained gloves and his hair will cling to his face, curled from the sweat of running around.
He’s athletic enough, which shows in his toned and well-muscled legs, but he’s a bit too much on the thin side. For anyone lucky enough to see him outside of his usual wear, it’s probably obvious that Hakuba doesn’t eat enough.

Preferred RP Style: Multi-paragraph, but am flexible! I tend to adapt to whatever the other person prefers, but the literary style I’ve chosen for Hakuba lends best to… overly long replies. I’m so sorry. LOL.
