the-suit-man: http://the-suit-man.tumblr.com/ …for a moment there, I thought what I saw in that pocket were not sunglasses, but a rather large gem. And before I realized my error (and the fact that I likely need reading glasses after such late nights), my immediate thought was ‘A blue suit? Kaitou-san, this is new… and very, very […]

animemyreligion: kyoya ootori I simply do not understand how someone could not be completely enchanted by those piecing, intelligent eyes. Kyoya-senpai is like the master to a veritable fleet of hounds; all obedient, muscles coiled, ready to race into the dark forest at the first command to hunt. He knows this and he waits, calculating, controlling […]

Set Appointment || a-princely-host

a-princely-host:

Tamaki , as usual for his appointed guests, had already set up a table with their finest tea set close by. He only wanted the best for his first male customer.

He wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Was he to flirt and shower him with compliments as he did with his female guests? Perhaps he should start slow- throw in a few subtle compliments then see where it goes from there.

Would this man swoon over him as his regulars did? Or would he attempt to flirt back? The whole thing left poor Tamaki a bit scatter brained.

However, on the outside he looked calm and collected. A smile laced along his lips as he stood infront of their table. His hands  rested behind his back as he gestured to the table.

“ Right on time Hakuba-ouji.” He said pulling out his chair for him.

Him? A prince? Hakuba looked from the young man to the chair that had been pulled out for him and had to take a brief moment to double-take. As scatter-brained as Tamaki might have been, Hakuba followed in spades. Wasn’t he supposed to get Suoh-san’s chair? Or, no, wait, he was a guest of Suoh-san. This was to be expected. All the same, he’d had servants pull chairs out for him, but never an equal. Of course, he’d never been in a situation where such treatment was appropriate – with another man, at any rate. No, those encounters had always been far more casual.

But Hakuba recovered well and quickly, nodding his head gratefully, taking the offered seat.

“Thank you, Suoh-san,” the detective said with a smile. “Or – is there a title that you prefer I call you? I must confess, I’m not all too familiar with the fine print of protocol for a Host Club.”

akaikujixyaku:

“Really?.. Well…”

“I s’pose if you’re fluent ‘s well, there oughtn’t be any harm continuin’ in English, but y’owe me not ta’laugh.”

"I’m learnin’ Italian by book, ‘n by immersion. I find that th’best way t’really get a grasp ‘f how natives speak th’language is by watching their media, like tv shows ‘n interviews, or even th’news programs. Still, I’ve got a few books I’d be able t’lend ya, soon as y’feel like gettin’ started.”

”…Himura-kun… ah, Emi…“ The detective stared for a good moment before he shook his head, blinking. "Your… Your accent is simply enchanting, my dear miss Himura… I had no idea. I… Summer evenings spent next to sun-kissed peach trees and…"

"Miss Himura, did you come here to seduce me or are you just teasing this poor British boy?”

Ah, a host club. Hakuba had heard tale of these, but had never actually been to one until previously that day. It had been a pleasant interaction. He was greeted warmly by the self-proclaimed King, and successfully arranged for an appointment later that afternoon. Honestly, if the other hosts were as gracious as Suoh Tamaki, he could see no reason why someone would not want to spend afternoons there. Good, dignified company was so terribly hard to find and keep-  and the academy seemed littered with it.

As the young detective walked through the halls and back to that music room, he wondered why he hadn’t enrolled in Ouran Academy. His family certainly had the money and, as far as he was aware, the status. At least, the family name of Hakuba did. And perhaps that’s where the inherent problem was.

Yet, Suoh came from a mixed heritage too, didn’t he? And he seemed perfectly at home, nestled deep in the academy’s embrace. Perhaps there were many things that he could learn from the King.

The detective hesitated when he got to the music room at the appointed time, took a deep breath, and prepared himself for whatever awaited behind those doors.

Hakuba entered the Host Club – this time as an expected guest.

“Neeeh, you totally should, languages are just the best thing ever and they’re so beautiful, but you’ve certainly chosen one of my favorites as a third. French is just aaaaamaaaziiiing. I don’t know if it’s the most beautiful, I mean, there are some Arabic languages that are really stunning.”

"…Uh I th-think I’ll stick to Japanese with you though, my French accent leaves something to be desired, and I’m certain if you heard my English you’d just find me perfectly ridiculous.

Maybe you could learn Italian with me that’d be fun you totally should I’m still studying that.”

"Well, if you’re certain… though I can’t imagine your voice being anything but lovely, Himura-kun. As for Italian, I would love to take you up on that offer. How are you learning it? Classes at school? Private tutor? By book? Share your method and I will match and support.”
