“Mmmmnn Kid, youâre always so kind to me,” Hakuba purred, tail lazily sweeping back and forth against the hardwood floor. “Will you be part of my hoard so I can keep you forever~?”
“Oh? Well, it depends on whether or not I must stay in a cave for the rest of time. Iâd like to be able to move around, if I did agree.” Admittedly, there were worse fates, but he didnât like feeling trapped.Â
The dragon tilted his head, glancing at KID upside-down. “Hmm… well I suppose I should want you to do what would make you happiest, so long as you returned each night to me… yes, that sounds like a very good fairytale indeed.” Hakuba nodded, serious. “I should expect you to come and go as you pleased but then come back to the cave – which would be very nice and comfortable! – so that I could wrap around you and nuzzle… and then you could brush my fur, yes? I like this plan very much!”
