Child character your muse would have and crossover ships you have with your muse!

♗ :Child!Character my muse would adopt.

If Conan counts, Hakuba would snatch him up in a heartbeat. He’s often thought that the boy would make an exceptional protege. BUT, since Conan isn’t really a six year-old little boy, let’s go with Mitsuhiko. Hakuba would foster his intellect and interests, and do whatever he could to help with his career. I bet they’d get along really well, too. Hakuba loves children. He’d probably do well with anyone, really.

☩:Crossover Ship with my muse.

Oh, gosh. Well, there’s the seductive thief, Jeanne ( kaitouxjeanne ), exceptionally close friend Kyoya ( host-kyoya ), ‘beauty detective’ Kirigiri ( detectivephiliac ), and of course, BBC Sherlock Holmes himself ( wewillstartwiththeridingcrop

…it’s really so easy to ship Hakuba with just about anyone, though. What has become of my life?

"…Is it perhaps because you enjoy the idea of there being TWO of your favorite detective, my dear Kaitou-san~?”

“Hmm… I won’t deny that thought may have crossed my mind… But just imagine what would happen if all the Kaitous were in one place as well. Doesn’t that just sound like it would be fun, tantei-san.~”

”…all of the Kaitous in… … one… .. place?“

CLOSED RP || A Surprise Guest

daughterofthesleuth:

It had been an unproductive day at the Mouri Detective agency. Well, it had been so for Mouri Kogoro, at least. Ran had been cleaning up after her Father as he had been busy, glued to his TV set watching a marathon of Yoko. He’d already kicked back four beers and his ashtray was a disaster area. Ran wrinkled her nose at the man, wanting nothing more than to have him grow up and clean up after himself. She doubted that would happen anytime soon. After she had become a young woman, she had become more than just his daughter, taking on the roles of maid, cook and babysitter…of him. She sometimes wondered how he even functioned properly when she was at school. Still, she loved him and he had been there for her, even to the point of doing his best to keep her safe. So, she couldn’t fault him on ever being a bad Father. He was just immature in a sense of the word.

He raised his fifth can of beer in a cheering salute to the spectacle before his eyes, vivid on the television screen. Ran secretly hoped that no one would make an appearance for a case with him in this condition, but he had been known to sober very fast when murder was in the air. Still, she shook her head and just dumped the discarded cigarette butts into the trash bin.

As if on cue and to her surprise, there was suddenly a knock at the door. She didn’t know if her Father noticed it or not, so she went to answer it herself. She straightened up and slowly turned the knob, pulling the door open.

“Good afternoon, Mouri-chan,” the young man on the other side of the door said, voice warm and pleasant with plenty of energy. Hakuba Saguru, young foreign detective, offered a customary and polite bow to the the young woman, then straightened up to put on what he believed to be his most charming smile.

He’d always liked the Mouri girl – she was polite, intelligent, and sweet, and had always made such a good impression on him. Interacting with her, therefore, always made the otherwise unpleasant task of tracking down Mouri Kogoro somewhat bearable.

Speaking of…

“I was wondering if the detective was in. Megure-keibu’s sent me with requested casefiles for one of his clients. Any chance…?”

He asked, though quite honestly, he’d heard the man from street level just before jogging up the steps. Mouri-san was loud, boisterous, lazy, and above all, a pain to work with in any capacity. Nevertheless, Hakuba saw no reason to be unnecessarily rude, particularly when even he had to admit that he did not know Kogoro as well as he ought.

He hoped, for Ran’s sake, that her father had hidden redeeming qualities, at least…

smokebombsandspyglasses:

“Ouch.” He laughed lightly and took no offense because half time it was true. “Well you’re in the clear … for today at least.” The last part of the sentence came out hushed and full of mischief.

“…you know, despite your assurances, I find myself feeling no less comfortable with the situation whatsoever.” Though, if Hakuba were to be honest with himself, this was rather par for the course with Kuroba. So, really, there was nothing more than usual to worry about.

“I suppose, however, that if you’re not up to anything- at least blatantly -then I shall wish you a good morning and a pleasant day. But…” He sighed. “Please reconsider when you do decide to cause trouble…”

Cleanba made his way towards Hakubby, taking out a handkerchief. He dabbed it with some food safe disinfectant, therefore would cause no harm if consumed, and dabbed it over his other self’s lips before leaning in to kiss him.

“…"

Of all of the many, many experiences that Hakuba had experienced in that vein, this was a first. The detective, confused and startled as he was, could only watch, mystified, as the other approached, touched, and then kissed him. He stood there in silence for a moment after that, eyes narrowing while he regarded his doppelganger. Really, aside from a few minor differences, the other young man might have been a mirror image of himself.

…but there were, of course, those aforementioned minor differences. These offered a sort of reassurance on one hand – someone like Kaitou Kid or those in a similar trade wouldn’t make that sort of mistake if they were attempting to replace him for some nefarious reason. On the other hand, it did raise quite a few new questions.

The half-brit tilted his head, setting his gaze at an angle to get a better look at his counterpart, bringing a hand up to his own lips to touch the substance that had been put there. From what he could tell from touch, smell, and taste, it was nothing more than an antiseptic of some sort; nothing immediately harmful. But why…?

Oh. The gloves. Right, yes, that made sense. But was it some sort of phobia, perhaps? A symptom of an extreme obsessive compulsive disorder? Unless it was part of the disguise. Feigning that sort of thing proved a useful distraction for those who might otherwise suspect something amiss. So who was this other self?

Even more curious was the nature of their interaction. A kiss. But not just any kiss – a pitiful excuse for a peck, almost as if it were spurred on by some unnatural force, carried through with the utmost reluctance and hesitation. Clearly, this false detective had little, if any, experience in physical affection, nor the inclination for it.

But then again… that may be just the sort of thing that a person might want him to believe in order to mislead his deduction. Hakuba took in a slow, measured breath and let it out while he counted the seconds to himself in his head. Really, despite the various theories that had begun to surface, he felt no more confident in reaching a conclusion than he had fifteen seconds ago, and the longer he delayed, the lower his chances of reaching a satisfying resolution.

He would have to, therefore, bluff in order to buy himself some time and, with any luck, probe additional information from his assailant.

"Well, then,” he said, lips tilting into a lopsided smirk. “I would assume that you were Kaitou Kid in another one of his ridiculous disguises, but you certainly don’t kiss the way that he does.” Hakuba chuckled, shoulders shrugging in amusement. “So who, may I ask, are you, and whoever taught you how to kiss that way~?”

loveisabadanime:

“Hakuba.” He said camly and bit back the emotion writhing in his stomach. “What makes you think I have planned anything of the sort?” Perfectly formed innocence made his voice sing playful.

“…well, to be honest, it’s because you usually have some sort of scheme under that wild hair of yours, and I don’t think that I’d like to be caught in its wake.” Hakuba frowned, red flags lifting here and there in the back of his mind. Something about the way that Kaito smiled made the hair on the back of his neck stand straight up.

It was amusing how Hakuba instantly took to a somehow defensive attitude, openly showing his scepticism. Kaito kept on smiling, neither hiding that he was expecting such a reply.

“Maybe I’m bored of the sometimes subtle and sometimes less subtle rivalry we’ve been having since you joined our class. You do behave a little aloof in general and it really annoys me to be accused as KID, but I actually think that there’s a nice guy behind all that behaviour. You keep informing me about that German illusionist as if he is dangerous and I should know what he does. I know you’re sending it because you think I’m KID and you’re trying to warn KID. But that proves it even more, you’re warning a criminal to watch out, you care for people.”

Agrin flashed across his face. “And yes, I’m well aware that I called KID a criminal. I know stealing is against the law. Doesn’t make him less cool though. He’s never hurt anyone and his magic is good.”

Were it not for the final sentiment in Kaito’s response, Hakuba might have found the entire exchange all too pleasant. This would have been suspicious, which would have given the poor detective far more work to do in order to maintain the conversation. Fortunately, with the additive about Kid, Hakuba relaxed. It was still Kuroba Kaito, and yes, he was still an ass.

But, for the moment, an amiable one.

“Well. It is true that I do care for people, and while you could make the claim that Kaitou Kid is something of an unusual commodity, I wouldn’t go as far as to say that he’s ‘cool.’ Granted, in my position, it’s a little difficult to avoid bias, but… that is just how it goes, I suppose.”

The blond shrugged his shoulders, attempting to convey a posture of casual nonchalance. He didn’t particularly enjoy being analyzed, let alone by one of his classmates, and especially not when quite so accurate.

“Regardless of all that, though… you wish for us to become friends, then?” It baffled him, but on the whole, he was… oddly pleased at the idea.
