Kaito felt his cheek twitch and his face blushed. “You’re right I can feel some pain but right now …. I …could only feel …”
He bit off his words. He couldn’t finish. When Hakuba had finished he swung his legs open wide and somersaulted over the arm of the love seat. Landing on a few feet back from the detective he took a few deep breaths and struggled to get his barrings again. He didn’t want him to stop touching him and that was dangerous. For both of them. He watched Hakuba slightly predatory from where he was.
Hakuba watched him, pulling his hands and equipment back and out of the way as Kaito moved, holding his breath in his surprise. “God, are you always so…” he tried to ask, but then shook his head. “Nevermind, I know that you can’t stop moving… god, two years in school… of course I know."
But even though he played it off like a mild irritant, the detective couldn’t help wonder what it was that Kaito had started to say. I could only feel… What? What could he feel? And… what was with that stare of his?
Feeling his own blush rising again, Hakuba hurriedly busied himself with cleaning up the medical supplies, stuffing the soiled into a bag and the rest back into the duffel.
"E-either way, you’re to rest… and you should eat the breakfast you made. I can bring it to you. Shall I run this down to the incinerator?"
