“My exploits? Oh my- you make me sound so much more interesting than I am, Mister Hakuba. I’m just a delivery girl— Emily Engebretsen, delivery girl, that is. Pleased to meet you, Saguru.” well, just may be a strong statement, considering. But it wasn’t inaccurate, and half truths would do well with new acquaintances. (The other half could come later).

"Regardless! Family in the flight lifestyle is certainly something I can respect- my father’s becoming a pilot was somewhat what inspired my pursuing it, after all- and in some respect it means you’ve had a better look into life in the sky than many.

Are you interested in piloting your own craft sometime? If you are, even a little, I’m always in the interest of giving hopefuls a better taste of the clouds. Just sayin’.”

"Ah, a pleasure to meet you, Miss Engebretsen. Ye-yes, I do think that learning how to fly an aircraft of some kind would be a useful skill. I’m very interested in learning all that I can about most anything, but this, in particular, is something that I’ve wondered about for quite some time…”

Hakuba chuckled to himself, ignoring that he felt some anxiety about the entire subject. It didn’t make sense at all; he’d been in planes many times before, but something about the small crafts set him on edge.

“A taste of the clouds, though? Do you mean that you take others up with you? I’m curious as to the type of cargo that you fly, now… Am I permitted to ask?”
