meitanteiosaka:

[sms] it’s just quicker sometimes yanno

[sms] ya Edokko just talk and type too slowly

[sms] call me colleague more to my face and I’ll think of deletin’ these

[text] Oh, do you actually like being referred to as colleague? I’ll keep that in mind. I’ve been telling everyone else that you are, at least… I’ll be sure to keep that up in person.

[text] My apologies for not making that clear earlier.

kurobakaitokid:

[text] Good, then. What would you like for dinner? Is there anything you should refrain from eating?

[text] And of course I would visit, my dear detective. I believe you would find me at your door soon after I get our dinner.

[text] You’re always very good company, anyways.

[text] Anything is fine, really… whatever you like most.  I’m just recovering from an automobile accident, so there are no real dietary restrictions. Concussion, bruising, that sort of thing. I just need to rest.

[text] Thank you… I’ll see you soon.

meitanteiosaka:

[sms] nah, yer good. wouldn’t mind if ya called me ‘senpai’ tho

[sms] actually that seems like a great idea

[sms] call me Hattori-senpai and I might just delete those messages

[text] That is never happening. Also, do you need to carry your accent on even into your typing? I’m absolutely astonished that you type that way intentionally.

[text] Please don’t blackmail me.

[text] I refuse to call you senpai, but I will refer to you as my colleague. As I have done for years.

“Today has been a good day, hasn’t it?”

“You still have 46 drafts and 41 messages in your inbox, and are behind on the 30 day challenge by 3-4 days, plus angst week is coming up next week. Annnd I’ve been neglecting Conan because of you.”

“Yes, that may be true, but today was still a very good day.”

“Oh, I just thought I’d drop by,” he began with a shrug, grin stretching wider and turning a hint teasing as he strolled over to the blonde, hands in his pockets. “And make sure you still weren’t up. Which I see you still /are/. ”

Hakuba shrugged helplessly, pushing back from his desk and turning his chair to face Kaitou, unable to stop the grin on his own face. “Ah, but did you really expect anything else from me, Kaitou-san?” He got to his feet, sighed, and shrugged again, looking to the thief, biting his lip. “Then again, you are, too… so what are we to do about that?

You give me hope that Hakuba will get some more screen time one day (:

Hahah yes! In the mean time why not check out WhiteKnightHakuba, He’s a real sweetie, fun to mess with, and sure to fill that void untill the show does 8D~

“Goodness, Camie-chan! I can’t imagine why my colleagues seem to think that you’re sneaky and mischievous.  You’ve always been so kind to me. Thank you very much for the glowing endorsement!”

He peered through the window and, upon catching sight of Hakuba, a wide grin spread across his lips. Silently, carefully, he opened the window and with one, graceful jump, he was inside the room. “Really, detective, shouldn’t you be in bed by now?”

The window opening without him at it shouldn’t surprise Hakuba anymore, but it does, if only just. Blinking, he glanced away from his paperwork to offer a smile to the thief, tired but genuine.

“Ah, Kaitou-san… I suppose that is the case, but I always try to get a little more work in before bed and, ah, often lose track of the time.”

He laughed, despite himself. “What brings you here tonight, so late, hm?”
