“How did you… how did you know that?”
Monthly Archives: September 2013
Your are a fool, who are you kidding. Pretending, always. Pretending to be “Someone” When instead you are nothing.
“goodbye” (Dont go…)
“Camie-chan, I need you to listen very carefully… there’s something important that must be done and I can’t… Well, I…”
A frustrated sigh. “I need you to get a code to Kaitou Kid. Do it however you have to, but make sure that he’s the only one who hears it. The code is ‘Ballarat’ – please do it as soon as you can, don’t tell anyone else. This is so, so important. Please. Thank you… thank you, if I get the chance to make it up to you I will, but if I don’t, I- ah.”
There was another pause, this one nothing but silence, and then a whispered, “They’re here…” before the voice message ends.
Goodbye
“This is an apology… Kaito-kun, for all of the times that I made you doubt, made you wonder. When I told you that I… well, I know you don’t believe me. I blame myself for that. For pushing too hard, for not pushing hard enough. You won’t hear from me again. I won’t interrupt your happiness. I’m…"A pause, hesitating, then a sigh and a halfhearted laugh. "I’m glad for you, actually. Really glad. I just can’t do it anymore. Even now, I can’t make myself say the words that I should have so long ago. I’m sorry. Goodbye.”
Goodbye
“Ah… I know that this will seem odd, out of the blue, but I wanted to thank you for your concern. God, this is awkward. Hakuba Saguru… well, you know who I am, don’t you? You’ve always been so kind. That’s why I… wanted to thank you personally before…” A sigh. “Well, you’ll inevitably find out… Anyway. Thank you.”
“Goodbye.”
“They know.” A cold laugh. “They know everything. All of the things that I told you and more. They’re coming for me. Stay away; don’t try to help. I earned this. It’s over. I’m sorry we didn’t have more time.” A brief pause- clattering in the background. “Ja.” And then a click.
goodbye~
“Hannah-chan, I’m leaving this message with you because I know it will be in capable hands… outside of the usual circle. Please, if you could, tell the others that I… that I-"
The message cuts off there.
“Goodbye.”
“Aki- Akira-kun…” Static on the line, voice punctuated with ragged breaths. “You… have to get her out-” A pause. Silence for several seconds. Then, in a rushed whisper. “I have to go.”
Send me “Goodbye” for the last voice message my muse leaves for yours before they die.
Inbox – Prelude
The emails hadn’t stopped coming in, nor the phone calls or text messages. All concerning the same thing: White Chapel.
His agent wasn’t answering his phone.
“Baaya… hold my calls for me, please, unless they’re from my agent?”
“Certainly, Young Master. Oh, your mail is on the drawing room table, love… there’s an awful lot of fan mail today. Your extra hours lately have certainly paid off.”
