how about duck a l’orange for the happy hungry hobbit
“…This is… not funny…”
"…it’s so… awful and oily oh god why can’t I stop?!”
Magic anon: You are now eating everything for 3 days.
“…Good God… I’ll be the tallest little hobbit of them all.”
Baa! ♈ never WENT to LONDON before. ♈ wonder HOW ♈t FEELS l♈ke TO l♈ve THERE.
“It’s a wonderful city, and large enough to accommodate many different living styles. Public transportation can get you just about anywhere with only a short walk. Or a long one, if you feel up to it. London is perfect for walking. It’s rich with history and fitted with the best of modern conveniences. Truly, a wonder. Definitely visit if you get the chance."
Hakuba~ What’s this I hear about a girl from school? Akako was her name? Does someone has an itty bitty crush now~? How cute~
“Ah, I… used to have a crush on Koizumi-san, this is true. And we dated for a little while, in fact. But, ah, things did not… go well… and we are not exactly on good terms any longer…”
Do you have any frieeeeeeeends????
“One, I think… Two if you count my governess… but that’s a little sad, isn’t it?”
What’s one thing you’ve been dying to ask the mun?
An unmarked package arrives on Hakuba’s doorstep. A letter is attached. “Mr. Hakuba,” it reads. “While excavating some ruins in Wales, we have uncovered a strange item. With your permission, we would appreciate it if you could examine it and send us back the results. Signed,” and here the signature was blurred, the ink having rubbed off during transit and poor handling. Inside was a strange item, looking somewhat like an emu or dinosaur egg.
“Well, that’s… somewhat unusual. And you’re not sure who sent it, Baaya?”
“No, sir… it was on the doorstep this afternoon. Apparently, there was no signature required.”
“The return information is missing, too… That’s troubling. I wasn’t expecting anything.”
“It’s a good thing that you’re a detective, or that might be a problem.”
“Thank you, Baaya.”
Hakuba brought the box to his bedroom and opened it at his desk. “An egg? How peculiar.”
He removed it from the box and handled it gently, inspecting it from top to bottom with interest. “Very curious…” It didn’t appear to be a real egg, at least not any that he was familiar with, so he set it upon his desk to act as a rather large paperweight.
He’d need to get a stand for it to prevent it from rolling off.

Startled at the sudden addition to her voice ringing through the neighbourhood, she had to pause and listen to reconfirm. Certainly, that was a clearly male someone calling the name of her dog, though that didn’t quite sound like her brother. Despite the sound of blood rushing through her ears, she could hear the sound of a barking dog. Hope fluttered in her heart and it was a split-second decision to turn back and follow the sound.
Without paying any disregard to her appearance, she jogged while following the source of the sound. Sweat trailing down her face and neck, hair mused up from all the running she did without properly tying it into place, make-up probably a bit more than smudged, feet sore and probably covered with more than just a few scratches, none of it all mattered in her mind.
Turning the corner, she couldn’t help the exclamation of her canine partner’s name the moment her eyes landed on the barking beagle.
“Akio! Come here, boy!“ clapping her hands a few times did the trick, it seemed, as he tugged the make-shift leash (she couldn’t quite see that far, really) free before quickly sprinting over to her open arms. Of course, being covered by dog kisses came next, which was expected as she allowed the little pup to crawl himself all over her and plant as many kisses as he wanted on her face. She was just relieved to know that she had him back. ”You silly dog, you make me so worried about you. Don’t scare me like that again.”
Pleased that his idea worked, Hakuba approached the pair with an easy smile, lifting a hand in greeting.
“Good evening! I’m guessing that this pup belongs to you, then?” The detective tilted his head, coming to a stop a few feet away. “If you don’t mind, I’d love to get my tie back.”
The tie was probably a little ragged by that point, having been dragged by the dog, but it had served its newly-appointed purpose well.
